Smart home solutions provider launches simple, fast and affordable smart home ecosystem
Palo Alto, Calif. – January 4, 2016 – ROC-Connect, an Internet of Things (IoT) platform technology company and creator of leading LATAM smart home platform OZOM, will debut its new Cloud services at CES. The new ecosystem, including ROC-Cloud, ROC-Master and ROMP, provides channel partners with a fast and cost-efficient way to deploy smart home products and services to their customers.
ROC-Master, the core element and application blueprint, provides businesses with a simple framework that allows them to deploy user apps for the smart home quickly and efficiently. It also offers businesses the flexibility to create full end-to-end branded smart home solutions with unique user experiences that can scale to support all IoT devices and the smart home.

ROC-Master leverages ROMP, an open API architecture that allows developers the freedom to design and deliver their own unique services using ROC-Cloud, the company’s cloud platform and in-home hub. This framework also enables ROC-Connect to offer and support ‘apps for things.’ Partners can use these features as part of the ROC-Connect SHaaS offering to monetize features in the different connected products they offer to their partners.
ROC-Master enables the integration of embedded third party applications and functions through its ROMP extension, which allows suppliers of products, applications, or services to collaborate and sell through the ROC-Cloud ecosystem and apps. Also included with the app are ROC-Connect’s market leading user, device, and home management models, which provide the most sophisticated approach in the smart home space, including multi-user, multi-location, multi-device ecosystems.
ROC-Master is built out natively in iOS, Android, and Web to support the end-customer app-stores as mechanisms to deploy and update. The app is available on Windows 10 and mobile devices, and will soon be available for Microsoft.
The platform and services are now ready for deployment in both North and South America, Europe and will roll out to support customers in Asia and Australia in 2016.
